Day 4 - Canberra

Who would have thought that travelling on a bus for several hours could be fun? Yet our Year 6s and 7s always manage to pack good times into every moment - especially when our bus began our journey with a 'hot lap' around the world-famous Mt Panorama Racetrack!

The luminous yellows and greens of the fields between Bathurst and Canberra took our breath away, and crossing the border of NSW and the ACT was a first for many. We visited the Australian Institute of Sport and were able to use the fun equipment there. Following dinner at our Canberra accommodation we played some group games and Mr Lituri led us in a devotion.

'When we went to the AIS and watched the gymnastics and swimming, it was very, very cool. Hi, Mum and Dad - I will see you in four days. Kiss kiss!' - Lachlan

'Today was amazing! At the AIS the games were really fun and I am really tired now. I love you Mum and Dad. :-)' - Gabby

'We went to a park for lunch and then we watched famous people train. Miss you heaps!' - Elise

'I most enjoyed the racetrack and the gymnastics. Love you, Mum and Dad - miss you!' - Taylah
