Day 5
Today we went to the War Memorial and Museum mate! I enjoyed the discovery room with my group as we had the chance to see and interact with the submarine and plane that people used in the past. We had a fantabulous breakfast, an awesome lunch and a beautiful dinner. My roomates are great and so far I’ve had a wonderful time with my friends. (Jason)
Today we got up really early but it was worth it because we got to go to the war memorial and museum. I really love being here in Canberra but I miss my family. I would never regret coming on this trip it has been great so far. Can’t wait for more fun! (Kennedy)
Today I got to go to Old Parliament house and the War Memorial in Canberra. The camp has been good and I don’t regret it. I still hope my family are having fun. (Jahkobi)
The day was grand at Canberra, exploring the big red Senate at the Old Parliament house and the great War Memorial, LEST WE FORGET. The experience of seeing the spitfire and the tanks including the submarines was amazing. It was all fun and tomorrow is the next adventure for me. (Joseph Higgison @ Canberra)
Today we went to the ole parliament house. I was super excited for this! After that we all went to the War Memorial. It was sad and emotional but also very interesting at the same time. (Gabriella)
Today we went to Parliament House it was 90 years old, it was so great seeing vintage stuff like old phones. Then we went to an old memorial place. It was so serious it made me think of my grandpas that were in the war. AND… I am seeing snow tomorrow for the first time. I hope it’s great! (Eve-Scarlett)
